When people think of Italian cuisine, pasta dishes with tomato often come to mind. The most famous of these recipes is “Pasta Bolognese.” Easy to cook, comforting, and enjoyed both with family and at a dinner with friends, this pasta recipe is always a success. This dish can be revisited to add an incomparable creamy touch with Galbani Burrata and a wonderful melt-in-the-mouth finish with Galbani Pecorino Romano D.O.P..

2
Peel the onion, then cut it into thin slices or dice.
-
3
Finely chop the carrot.
-
4
Finely slice two cloves of garlic.
-
5
Cut the two tomatoes into slices, then reduce the slices into thin pieces or cubes.
-
6
Heat olive oil in a large frying pan over medium heat.
-
7
Add the vegetables to the pan and sauté them until they are all nice and tender.
-
8
Add the beef to the pan piece by piece. Cook the meat until it is nicely seared. Be careful not to overcook it.
-
9
Stir in the tomato pieces.
-
10
Season the mixture with salt, freshly ground pepper and celery salt. Do not forget to mix everything well.
-
11
Let it simmer over low heat, stirring regularly and keeping an eye on the cooking time.
-
If you like spicy food, you can add a knife-tip of cayenne pepper to your sauce. To strengthen the flavor of your sauce, you can also add oregano, thyme or Herbes de Provence.

Cooking the pasta In a large saucepan or stockpot, bring salted water to a boil. Lower the heat once boiling and add the spaghetti. Cook the pasta until al dente.
-
Al dente cooking time can vary depending on the brand. Please refer directly to the package so as not to overcook your pasta. It is possible to add a stock cube to start flavoring your pasta right away.
-
13
Once your pasta is cooked, turn off the heat and drain it well.
-
14
Place the spaghetti in a large dish.
-
For an even creamier touch, you can add a tablespoon of crème fraîche to your spaghetti. Be careful: the Burrata center will already add creaminess, so do not use too much in your pasta or you may lose the cheese flavor.
-
15
Presentation and servingOnce the spaghetti is in the dish, pour your Bolognese sauce over the pasta.
-
16
Place your Burrata in the center of the dish.
-
17
Sprinkle the grated Pecorino Romano all over the dish. Add a few fresh basil leaves for a fragrant finishing touch.

Recipe variations For a lighter, more summery version, replace the beef with chicken and add grated zucchini to your sauce for a hint of sweetnessReplace the Pecorino Romano with Parmigiano Reggiano, or even grated Mozzarella Cucina or any other cheese of your choiceFor more color in your sauce, use multicolored cherry tomatoes: your pasta will become even more appetizing.
